Madigan's Indictment Hopefully a Turning Point
As many of you have likely heard, yesterday, March 2nd, former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan was indicted by the federal government. More information is linked below.
I sincerely hope that this signals a turning point from the old way of doing things, relying on personal loyalties and deals, and more on openness and policy discussions. The people of Illinois deserve nothing less.
